1. Who do you admire most, and why?
Magrann, Diana: Frank Ceglar, my Dad: His father and brothers died in the flu epidemic of 1918; he dropped out of school to help support the family, and he grew up eating almost nothing but sauerkraut. He worked three jobs to support five kids of his own. He was told by a doctor that he had a heart defect and would not live past age 30, so he lived into his late 80's, expecting to die at any time. He was a brilliant businessman, and all his kids grew up to be successful. He always gave $20 (a lot of money back then) to the family of every new baby born in his neighborhood. He was strong, tough, compassionate, and generous.
Magrann, Tracey: I admire Mother Theresa for her humanitarian activities, living in poverty while helping the poor. I also admire Jimmy Carter for spending his golden years of retirement building houses with Habitats for Humanity.
